Waine Pittman

Waine Pittman serves as Vice President of the Water/Wastewater Division at S.L. King & Associates, Inc., bringing over 33 years of experience in electrical design, project management, and facility start-up/commissioning. With a strong foundation in water and wastewater treatment systems, Waine has led major infrastructure projects across the Southeast, demonstrating a deep understanding of electrical and P&ID design, facility instrumentation, and inspection protocols.

Throughout his career, he has delivered electrical solutions that include architectural lighting and power layouts, riser and single-line diagrams, as well as schedule and wiring schematics. His ability to manage full-cycle project delivery—from design through startup—has made him a trusted leader in both public and private sector initiatives. Waine is highly skilled in developing project schedules, system development plans, start-up and commissioning strategies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). He also provides hands-on support for system testing, loop testing, troubleshooting, and operational readiness.

In addition to his technical expertise, Waine brings years of experience in networking and programming, and is proficient in AutoCAD design software. His project portfolio includes high-impact assignments such as the R.M. Clayton Water Reclamation Facility and the award-winning Johns Creek Environmental Campus, where his contributions helped establish industry-leading standards in sustainability and operational excellence.
